vipy.ai

The fitness journal you talk to.

Say what you ate, snap a photo, tell it what you lifted. Vipy writes it down, does the math, and answers with your real numbers — not guesses.

  • A photo says 520–610 kcal — never a fake 564.
  • Tap any total to see the exact entries behind it.
  • Works offline. Nothing says “saved” unless it saved.

Why you can relax

Never lied to.

Most apps guess — and act sure. We show what we know, and what we don’t.

A range, not a fairy tale

A photo can’t know exact grams. So you see 520–610 kcal — not a made-up 564. Off? Fix it in one tap.

It watches out for you.

Chest pain? Warning signs? Coaching stops and it tells you to get help — right away. Pain during a lift? Progression pauses until it’s safe. Care first, counting second.

Independent evidence
Four popular apps underestimated real meals by about a third.

Researchers at the US National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases weighed 102 meals to the nearest 0.1 g in a metabolic kitchen, photographed them, and ran them through MyFitnessPal, LoseIt!, Cal AI and Appediet. All four underestimated energy by roughly 250–345 kcal per meal, and fat by about 30 g. Track a 500 kcal deficit with a 300 kcal error and there is no deficit.

We run the same class of model they do. The difference is not that we are more accurate — it is that we show you the uncertainty instead of rounding it into a number that looks certain.

How it feels

We don’t sell features. We care how you feel.

Six feelings the old apps never gave you.

Calm

The numbers are real. Computed and checked — never made up. You always know where you stand.

Free

No forms. No searching dropdowns. Talk, snap a photo, get on with your day.

Proud

Your +2.5 kg on the bar gets noticed. Small wins — seen and celebrated.

Understood

It remembers your sore shoulder, your goal, your story. You never repeat yourself.

Growing

Strength up. Weight trending where you want it. Progress you can watch.

Strong for others

More energy for the people who count on you. That’s the real why.

Proof, not praise

We have no testimonials. Here’s what we have instead.

Vipy hasn’t launched, so nobody has used it long enough to say anything worth quoting. Three things you can check yourself.

The demo above is the product

Every screen on this page is drawn by the same code the app ships — not a video, not a mockup. If a button looks like that here, it looks like that there.

The range narrows when we know

A home-cooked plate gets a range, because a photo can’t know grams. A packaged food with a legible label gets the exact number read off the print. That’s how you can trust the range when it’s wide.

You can see what counted

Tap any total and every entry behind it is listed, tagged with how it got there — spoken, photographed or typed. Nothing to take on faith.

Real quotes go here after the closed beta. From real people, about things that actually happened.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet — it’s in closed beta. The list is how you get in. There’s no App Store badge on this page because there’s nothing honest to link to yet. You can use the full product in your browser today.

What does early access actually get me?

In before the public launch, your price locked at whatever we set on launch day, and a say in that price before we set it. Nothing to pay to join.

How accurate is photo logging?

It’s an estimate — and we say so. Every photo gives a range, never a fake exact number. When a printed nutrition label is legible, we read the exact figure off the print instead. You confirm or adjust in one tap.

Do I have to talk out loud in a gym?

No. Everything you can say, you can type — and a planned set is one tap, with no talking and no AI in the way. Voice is the fastest way in, never the only one.

What will it cost?

We haven’t set it. It’ll be a monthly subscription in the range normal for this category, and early-access members get that price locked and a say in it beforehand. We’d rather tell you nothing than publish a number we then change.

What happens to my data?

Photos are short-lived and stripped of location data on your phone. Health values never appear in logs. Everything is locked to your account.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Entries save on your phone first, show instantly, and sync when you’re back online. No duplicates, ever.

How is this different from MyFitnessPal?

You talk instead of filling forms. The coach answers with your real numbers. And photo estimates are honest ranges, not false precision.

Can I rely on it for my health?

It’s a journal and a coach — not a doctor. Warning signs trigger an emergency message instead of advice. For medical concerns, always see a professional.
